BOOK REVIEW: HEALING:UNPLUGGED by Bill Johnson Randy Clark

“Healing: unplugged – Conversations and Insights from Two Veteran Healing Leaders ” by Bill Johnson and Randy Clark contains the written interviews of two veteran prayer leaders sharing their experiences with the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit as it relates to healing.  The insights shared will be better understood by those who have experienced similar manifest presence while praying for individuals.  This is not a book that will be easily digested if the reader has never prayed for an individual or does not believe in the Holy Spirit.

An individual just learning about prayer may not be able to relate to the experiences shared in the book.

“Healing: Unplugged” is more of an advanced intercessory prayer book on healing. As an intercessor I appreciated the frank conversations shared by the authors. I personally identified with some of the experiences discussed. In general the book is a useful reference and a source of encouragement for those who, like myself, continue to study the gifts of the Spirit and seek a greater number of healings when praying.

Since Intercessory prayer is a matter of faith and style the methodology used by Bill Johnson and Randy Clark may not be for everyone.  Their success is undeniable yet as many experienced prayer warriors will share- God incorporates individual personalities in order to fulfill His plans. It is therefore important, if it is your desire to be an intercessor, that you are led by the Holy Spirit.  I recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
