The political books are coming out faster than most people can read them and most are along party lines or have a political agenda. Dr. Tony Evans has written a book, “How Should Christians Vote” which is dedicated to answering this very question. It does not matter what your political affiliation is if you consider yourself a believer in the word of God.
This is an important book written at a very important time; it explains why Christians cannot put their faith to the side when choosing political candidates. By sharing bible verses that present biblical principles in relation to such topics as abortion, health care and welfare the reader is given the tools to make the best possible decision when he goes to the voting booth. By explaining the four foundational forms of government (individual, family, church and then civil government) the reader can see how politicians can be a distraction to ones relationship with God.
I found this book, as all of Dr. Evans messages, to be informative, easy to read and understand and timely. It took me a day to read. I do not believe that a Christian, Democrat or Republican would find this book offensive in anyway though if you are a firm believer in separating your faith from your politics you may find this book difficult to digest.
I received a complimentary ebook in exchange for a fair review.
