by Marsha L Randolph              I have been waiting for a book like “10 Christians Everyone Should Know” edited by John Perry for quite a while. Though I enjoy learning the biographies of various individuals I really don’t have the time to read the hundreds of pages dedicated to their lives. This book presents a mini bio of: Saint Patrick, Galileo, Anne Bradstreet, John Bunyan, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jane Austen, D. L. Moody, George Washington Carver, Sergeant York, and William F. Buckley Jr. written by various authors including a few by the editor John Perry.

“10 Christians Everyone Should Know: Lives of the faithful & What They Mean to You” begins by explaining why this is such an important book for the individual. Mr. Perry shares something that I believe: in order to appreciate where you are and have confidence that you will get to where you are going it is important to discover the lives of those who went first. By providing a variety of personalities the reader is better able to appreciate Christianity as it is today.

“10 Christians Everyone Should Know” by John Perry is informative and inspirational. I recommend reading this book particularly those who are having a difficult time fulfilling their destiny.

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
